No Series Fans! Come On Guys! Its Two Great Teams!!!
St. Louis and Texas have great pitching, hitting and fielding. The first game was great until the ump missed the fact that a ball was fouled off a Texas batters foot! Other than that it was a pretty great game.
Tonight looks to be a pitching duel as well. If your not watching your missing out...

Sorry but any interest and enthusiasm I ever had for MLB went out the window after the ENTIRE 1994 post-season and World Series was cancelled......due to a labor dispute!!!

Dudes! This is a great series!!! Texas won tonight 2-1. As for a Card sweep? I don't think so. Back to Tejas baby!

I tuned in for a couple of innings for both games. St. Louis & Texas don't hold much interest for me...

Small market series....I like it. Hey guys, it can't be Yankees or Red Sox winning every year...or can it?

That makes two of us on those points. And throw in when contracts started hitting 9 figures and PEDs? Bring back the Big Red Machine and Charlie Finleys Oakland A's and I might get interested again.

OK baseball fans 25 years ago St Louis played The KC Royals just 250 miles down the road. What other world series were played between teams that were closer together?

It's a thrilling game if you're into watching overpaid men in tight pants prance around for two hours. I lost my enthusiasm after '81 and Pete Rose. I completely lost interest after '94.
My son and grandson are HUGE Red Sox fans, so I watched the night of armageddon on September 28. They are the only two MLB games I've watched in five years. It was kind of nice to know why everyone in the hotel was walking around looking stunned the next day. I do like to settle on the sofa with a beer on a Sunday afternoon, turn on a game and fall asleep before the 2nd inning. Nothing induces sleep like a rousing game of MLB.

Probably a lot of examples of series that were closer than 250 miles. I can't listen to Joe Buck, and watching on mute gets a little boring. Nice pitchers duel last night.
