Sunoco Pump Porsche

Anyone notice the Sunoco Pumps have a 911 on the pay screen? Filling up with the pump going into the engine compartment. How can that have gotten by. One of the most iconic Rear engined sports cars. I guess they figure the tank must still be in the back somewhere but wow really just reminds me how dumb the world is getting.

That one always gives me a chuckle when I see it at the pump.

just about every gas pump in indiana has that. i was at the station with my 911 a couple of years ago, and the woman pumping gas next to me mentioned that my car "looks just like the car on the gas pump."

She just wanted to jump into the seat and rip her clothes off.

Yea, I've noticed this too. I always figured they deliberately showed the nozzle going into the wrong place to make their depiction of the car different enough from Porsche's copyrighted 911 to avoid having to pay them royalties for using the image. That level of integrity fits pretty well with oil companies/distributors.

They put the nozzle in the rear because that's the way most cars are and it would only confuse people to show pumping gas into the left front fender.

So let the bozos in this country wander around the car and poke the filler hose at any hole they can find.
