What does the collective think about Google collecting information on the wifi routers?

I set our wifi open access but I named it NSA Public Access.

Mine is Formula1 at home, smellyfoot for my air card, my wife's is uglyfoot.

I was at a restaurant in Miami and there was one named 1000AngryAnuses.

The cop at the table next to me said it was probably open.....

not broadcasting is pretty pointless really... the access point will just sit there quiet & dumb... then the clients come up , where's Skynet? where's Skynet??
