M.J. reports that surgery went well. David is now in recovery, she can visit him in 2 hours. Doc said that they caught him just in time and that getting to the hospital when he did made the difference.

Bullet dodged!

Amazing. Wonderful work by the early responders on this thread. We've pulled off some pretty amazing things over the years, as some of those who have been here as long as me will recall.

I wish we had been given a few more weeks with Warren, as we would have made that lung transplant happen, I am 100% sure of it. That still wrenches my heart out every time I think of it. Still think about him a lot, and miss his presence on the tech board. We have lost others, as well.

David, cheers mate!

Wow, what a story and what a good outcome.

So, anyway, um, is, uh, this gonna delay your gun projects? Just wonderin', ya know.

Just kidding, David, good luck on your recovery.

Those poor nurses had better get their regular chores done while he's still sleeping.

Now if we can just convince him not be so negative and grouchy all the time and be more easy going (like me) it'll help keep the blood pressure down .......................... ;)
