I just exchanged a few texts with David. He is having a lot of pain today but he just got a shot and he's off to sleep for awhile. I told him how many folks posted and expressed their concern for him and he replied, "who knew?, I love you guys". I'm encouraged that he's able to text the day after surgery, i know i wouldn't be texting!!!

David said he got some morphine, so it may be a drip/pump. MSO4 really works!

I'd like to think they are keeping Dave as comfortable as possible.

I hope David is resting comfortably this evening.

We're all hoping he gets stronger every day. Strokes and TIA's are nasty things.....Ingrid Pastorius (yes, Jaco's widow) passed away last night due to a stroke. Am so glad that David got help and hope he's back to his regular self soon. (After all, I need to have someone to send Mardi Gras fixin's to.);)

Great news. Hey David, get home soon and we can get together for that drink and a cigar.

Ummm.... Hate to be a buzzkill, but those two things aren't recommended when recovering from this...

Yeah. Who knew the health and well-being of a highly thought of individual would be a topic of interest?

David: Get well soon. You had a lot of us worried for a few days, but I suspect none of us were as upset in our schedules as you, MJ and Chandra.
