Congrats on the 8 years, but don't just sit back and relax.

I had my stroke 19 years ago, and a few TIAs in between. Had a nasty concussion a year ago. At 54, my short term memory has good and bad days, and there is a possibility I may have early onset dementia. Stay vigilant.

A long long time ago, I can still remember when
David thought he'd had a stroke.
And I knew if he ignored it, he would be in deeper *****
And all our little heart would be so broke.
Off to the doctor he did scurry
To get treatment to end his worry
The procedure was a success
Our response was happiness
And I don't remember if we thought
About the new bass he had bought
But we're just glad to have the bloke
The day when David beat his stroke.
