Attach jpg?? HOW??

Okay I am trying to attach a 55K jpg file, I enter the pathname to the file in the attach file box below and nothing happens (the text is posted to the BBS but no picture) So what is the trick?

Hello

You have to put it in "code"

Before the link type in: [img]

Then right after that, paste the link, being sure not to leave any space between: ] and the link.

Then type in: [/img] without spaces either.

It will look like this, but without spaces.

[img]www.yourlinktoyourpersonalpicgoeshere.com [/img]

Like that, but no spaces...

Uh... all I see are little white boxes with little red x's

Do I need to upload my jpg's to a website and attach the address?

I thought I maybe could attach a jpg like you do in email.

You can upload the files to this website.

Easiest way: just do the attach file thingy at the bottom of your post, if you want to upload a jpg from your home 'puter. Don't know why it is not going for you, but it will attach it automagically. (Note: I click on the browse button to get it to point to my pictures.)

If you wish to link to a picture that's already on the net, then you can do this:

{zmg}http://www.websitename.com/blah.jpg{/zmg}

just replace the '{' and '}' with '[' and ']' and replace the 'z' in ZMG with i. (for image)
