The funny thing about that? A few minutes later, a fisherman caught a 6 inch red snapper; He tossed it to the pelican, who had a hard time getting it down his throat. A few minutes later, another fish. And a few minutes after that....another fish. I'm standing there looking at the bird wondering where he is putting all this fish, since these birds are not all that big if you spread out the 4 foot/1.2 meter wings. They typically weigh about 10 pounds, or 4 kg.
When he had his back to me, I reached down and petted his feathers on the back of his head; He turned toward me with his beak open to bite me- "STOP messing up my HAIR" N Last edited by Normy; 12-04-2011 at 04:56 PM.. |
