I know one of his sons died in a plane accident, but it was in the amphibious plane that they used to fly to locations with. I believe it was and albatross and he hit a submerged tree in a river/lake. During the filming of Apocalypses Now, an actor was decapitated in the helicopter scene.

Simple dirty news, "Fat chick gets stuck on a 747 toilet seat" and now "Blonde walks into a propeller.

Sad yes, news no.

It might not be "news", but it's no reason to be a dck either.

Yes, it was the scene with the Huey in the rain. I haven't seen it in forever.

My father was a pilot so I heard all the tragic stories, I actually flew a plane for the first time at 6.....

Not putting miles on your car is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.

The crash, you don't see the gore but if you pause it you get the idea. Not a good thing.

That's the scene I was thinking of. I guess the only upside is it happened so fast they never knew what happened.

I remember that. I think it was that Catalina flying boat they had. Seems like he landed on a sandbar.

It was Vic Morrow from the show"Combat" that was killed along with the 2 kids. Very Tragic. He was a lot of kids" hero back in the 60's. That accident started a huge deal with the film industry in set safety and child labor laws. As far as the fashion chick, that really sucks. Having spent a considerable amount of time in and around operating jet engines and also prop jobs, you have to be aware at every moment. You get comfortable in those environments and it can kill. Add someone not aware of the dangers and the threat is huge. it's up to the operator to prevent these types of tragic events.
