Anyone want a Volvo P1800e?

I'm selling this for a friend, she never drives it. Been sitting in dry storage for years, in 2009 I did a big maintenance job on it including brakes/brake hydraulics/tune-up/etc.

$8k obo

I can take more pictures of specific areas if anyone is interested.

I've just spent several $K's this year on parts for my "cheap" 944's, otherwise I'd probably say Heck Yeah!

As it is, ain't got the money.

Probably a good thing, my 944's should be very well setup, and aught to be able to outrun a Mustang in the twisties.

But like Tervuren... no funds in the bank

Would your friend trade for a 944?

That looks to be a nice survivor. I passed on one for 500 just as I was starting my 914 race car. Turns out the P1800 is not a bad idea when vintage racing. They don't have a tremendous value or following.

I'd think that car would do better than average on eBay. Someone somewhere wants that car.

Check this page out if you want to see some neat custom p 1800's.

Cool car, my old DB4 used to get confused with one. I like it, but I just can't bring myself to go from an Aston Martin DB4 to a Volvo P1800.

VERY NICE!

I always liked the wagon version a little more though....

Hence.....the "Station Wagon" thread!

Oh. Oops... I just saw it. I could try and talk the wife into it with the angle that it's the same color as her 960 and we could match, but she's not a car person and that probably wouldn't work.

A P1800 is nice, but the wagon is nicer. But those photo's of the wrenched one's make it all the more interesting to want to build up one. Those are great pic's. If I was in the market, it would be great to have your's.

Cool cars. I used to work with a guy who collects old Volvos. I think he already has one of these but I'll forward him a link to the thread. Thanks for sharing.

Only for a very special severely vertically and horizontally challenged individual, to put it in modern liberal terms.

In simpler words, only a skinny miniature midget would fit back there. The space behind the front seats makes my 944's backseats seem roomy.

This is the Swedish take on the Corvette, two seats.

thats cheap IF it is as rustfree as it looks to be
while not quite as valuable as a ES [wagon/back]
it is the 2.0 FI motor
and 8k is cheap

post it here and
http://www.brickboard.com/RWD/index.htm?model=1800

Turbobricks Forums

it will go quickly

it would look nice next to my 66 amazon 4 door sedan with the same motor [carbed]
but too far away

I saw one back in 89. Took me awhile to figure out what it was from behind.

It wheels and tires that were wider than stock and looked very cool.

Cool car, I like those. Is the drivers door sprung or is it just the pic?
