A Viking funeral pyre on a raft - let my burned ashes just sink into the river/lake.

And a big awesome party for my friends!

This Viking this seems pretty popular.

I'd like all my usable parts removed and distributed. Roast the rest. Throw a "no tears allowed" party - enlarge photos from my travels have them hanging up. Maybe a slideshow. Just hit shuffle on my Pandora account for music. Scatter some of my ashes near a beach with big surf, some in a stream in the North Georgia mountains, some at Road Atlanta.

I've told my wife to take a couple of weeks to think about what she liked and didn't like about our marriage, then sign up for eHarmony and move on. Life's too short to be looking back.

Viking funeral but I also like the reply about going out in a blaze of gunfire!

Organ Sale. Hey the doctors and hospitals don't work for free. Balance cremated. No service. No memorial service. I am not into "pomp". I remember my passed friends without that BS. Family can do what they want with the ashes.

I want my wife to donate whatever parts of me that can be used, that is if they're not too old & worn out. Then the rest cremated on the cheap and rent a plane & dump the ashes out the window over Lake Basin in the Sierras.

Viking funeral, but I know nobody in my family would ever carry that out. Next would be my ashes placed in one of my model boats and put in the ocean and set on fire.
One way or another, my ashes have to end up in the Atlantic Ocean. I have written orders for that. The ocean is my first love. so thats where I want to be.
I really dont want any kind of service. Unless I die in the line of duty. Then a full firefighters funeral will be ok.

Well, I'm an organ donor, so if anything is usable, it will be. I am already set to be cremated, some of my ashes spread at some of my favorite tracks & races, some mixed into the paint & my 78 SC completely repainted, bare metal including the centers of a set of Polished lipped Fuchs I have set a side.. What is left will be mixed with the ashes of my Pets from over the years and spread over the waters right off Bimini.. My urn is already set,

Yes,one of these bottles
As for a service, the deck at my Club will be fine for a open bar party, on the river where my favorite songs will be played..

And this one..

Yeah, didn't add the organ donation thing, that's a given. Seems like most of us are of a like mind on this.

Byron - well done.

Here's another appropriate song you could add to your playlist:

Already in the process of buying a plot next to my Mom. It's a dual plot for my son and I. If my daughter dies before me then it will become a tri-plot with my son and daughter buried and me cremated and placed on top of their caskets. Assumption is that my daughter is unmarried at the time of her death. My son will probably never marry and will either live with me or go to an assisted living arrangement. He will never be alone.

Music will be The Doors and Green Day and a few other bands yet to be named. There will be a slideshow and there will be rememberance.

That's all I have planned so far. Oh, and all organs will be donated first.

First, organ doner. Second, cremation. Third, small service, a few words, flower's if they want. Forth, off to the K of C for a party, on me, drinks, food, hopefully laughter from some. What's a small $$ amount for one last get together. Only problem, my wife does not drink, nor goes to the KofC. Oh well, a thought.

Having our ashes all combined, Mj, Me, all our pets. They will be put into fireworks by Zambelli, a local fireworks company here. Big picnic/ party in August when the Persied meteor shower is happening. Fireworks display, our ashes in the big finale. This is in our will and preparations have been made.

I told my wife the most economical means possible. Put me in a Maytag box and take me to the landfill.

I'm an organ donor but doubt I will have anything of value. I choose cremation and ashes spread off of Camino Cielo overlooking Santa Barbara. No service please.

I want a service like the one that Kim Jong Ill is going to get.

And racer/Byron, I know Joe W., he's a character. The first time I met him, I said, "I can't believe you're still alive!" He replied, "me neither!"

Byron, I just drank an Arrogant Bastard.....one of my favorites. Actually, everything from Stone is pretty much awesome!

As far as my funeral.......IDGAF, I'd prefer to just be cremated and everyone get hammered and have a blast, If some drunk fool ends up spilling me all over everybody, at least I've gotten in one more blow......hehe

Cremated. Have a service with pictures of me with the people and my favorite music playing. I want my ashes tossed over the family burial plot and a little stone saying I'm there with the rest of them. I like going to the cemetery and seeing the stones that remind me of my ancestors. I'll like to have my name among them.
