Porsche on 1500 Quid. Top Gear

Top Gear BBC bought 3 different Porsches for under 1500 pounds and meet some challenges. They bought a 928, 944 and a 924. The 928 pissed more water then the Geri ward, the 944 was falling apart like Jr HS prom plans and the only one that seemed to weather the test of time was the rig with a VW bus engine - the 924!

I love what they did to the 924! That and putting the Cadbury egg in the 928 radiator! Oh my God I about lost it!

Yeah, thats a great episode. I liked the 928 coffee table at the end. Imagine if they found a 911 for that price...

924 has an Audi engine.

914's have Type 4's which is basically a VW bus engine.

It's no Mustang, however.

The 944 won on the track. I think it was because the 928 was running on 6.5 cylinders. Points for the Blackbird paint job though. And who to say that am Asian 11 skid shouldn't count! Priceless!

The egg in the radiator thing will work.. to an extent. Dont try it unless you are stranded somewhere with a hole in your radiator. And just happen to have an egg.

Top Gear BBC is a great show. The US version is good bit not as good.

I'm working my way through all the seasons on Netflix. Great stuff! Jezza is a natural.

I get BBC America so I've seen this one long ago.

72doug2,2S, I like your signature line.

(The Rush part, the car part, and the MFI part)
