They aren't called "stealerships" for nothing. Bullitt Mustang cold air intake air filter...around $80-85 from most dealers. Independent parts supplier sell the same unit in a Ford Racing box for $29.95 with free shipping.

Paul-

For Ford Racing Parts, or really an Ford genuine parts, visit www.tousleyfordparts.com and you'll see that they sell the real stuff cheaper than anywhere else. They're cost plus 10%. I buy all my Ford parts there. Just a few miles from me.

Looked at the Monroe page to see if they had shocks for the Cayenne rear hatch since they often go bad and are a PITA to replace.... nope. Guess I have to fork over the $72/ea for them, oh well.

Look, it's 2008. I believe the older year has recalled.

Porsche4life, tabs,
The Lexus/Toyota spark plug cost $28 each, last time I check, but it suggested to last 150k miles.

Kaisen, I can't seem to find by those part number.

Autozone has bunch of difference strenth for between $20 - $30.

uh-oh Sid! Not a supercharged New Beetle is it? My wife has one. 944 parts can't hold a candle to it pricewise.

ours is a 07 I think. Did you try to call toyota of America or check with the dealership about the recall?

Exactly. Autozone has a whole rack of them. I use them on other things like tool boxes. I always find one that fits.

This was a 1990 Corrado, and I thought the new beetle was a 1.8T, I thought VW learned their lesson with the Corrado and used a snail now....

If I can wait a day or two for a part, I go with rock auto. I have had excellent service and the parts are a bargain compared to dealers and box stores.

I was able to get the Bosch plugs for in at $14 per plug.
At least they are good for 40,000 miles.
