What a nightmare. As an aside, in the trailer park there were 15 registered sex offenders living in a 24 home complex. Just a freakin nightmare.

Just spent Christmas day with our 1 YO granddaughter, son and DIL. Makes me even more confounded how someone can behave in this manner but when you have that many in a small environment, well the outcome seems almost 100% predictable. I will just never understand that kind of deviant behavior.

And the guy wasn't a registered sex offender, at least from what is known right now. Sad, sad story.

Unless there's a big sign that says "15 registered sex offenders live in this neighborhood", I assume they just didn't know.

I couldn't even imagine leaving my kids with someone just because I had a cold and my spouse worked nights. WTF? With a violent criminal?

I can do a lot of things on the web in less than five minutes. Just because I know that and you know that doesn't mean that everyone knows that, and even if they've heard it somewhere before, it doesn't mean that they'd think of checking before they move in.
