btw the bottom was about 6 months ago here
I see a slow steady price rise on sales recently and higher end homes in good to best locations going up faster then the more common smaller cheaper homes sure there are striped repo's out there cheap but the cost of repair is still over the value and homes in good shape are moving faster |

Ain't got much but what I have is all mine. As others have said...Just the damn taxes! I thought Kentucky mght be a good place for an old retiree.. not so. This state ain't no tax haven and "no bang for the buck" for the taxes paid. BAD schools BAD roads!

Same here... but in terms of achievements, it's been somewhat underwhelming for me, because the property taxes + insurance (incl. Hurricane) cost as much as a rent on a decent sized apartment (or the monthly payment on a GT3RS) ;-( At least the prop tax is deductible...
