Yup, cocked, locked and ready to rock but hidden from view. When I travel I carry, even in NY, especially if I am going anywhere close to NYC.

These signs are posted on US land along I-8 and south of Tucson.Reassuring to know DHS has it all under control! The only thing they control is the media.

travel with a bear spray as well, this can give some time to load gun, while your attacker is choking

Nice sign!

Reminds me of a saying in Montana.Carry a big frame revolver with six shots. The first 5 are for the bear and the last one is for you when the first five didn`t work!

There are really only a couple of areas that I would feel more comfortable "packing heat" in Arizona.

One is hiway 85 between I-8 and I-10 just West of Phoenix. After dark its well known to locals as a place where you can get into trouble. Several LE officers have been killed in this area and if they are not safe, then civilians sure are not.

As well just about anyplace South of I-8 East of hiway 85 all the way to Padre Island in Texas. I do not get near the border anywhere in this area as its controlled by the druggies and "coyote's" and after the sun sets you really do not need to be anywhere around here. This is the area that Janet Nepo of the TSA says is secure but she does not visit this area without lots of big guys with guns, so she is lying our of her rear end...

Other than the above there are few places in our fine state that you could encounter anyone "difficult" that needs dealing with.
