Always wanted a Hutch, but had to settle first for a Mongoose then a Redline. Hutch was based out of Baltimore, MD?

Correct, a bike shop 1st, Profile out of FL built their frames for a while, also built the 1st Hutch cranks.

I still have my Hutch cruiser

I have a 88 Master, debating whether to restore/keep as "Survivor" or build up in my style. I have everything to keep as a it was, and really leaning towards that.

Pretty sure they never had a shop. Rich and Thelma Hutchins used to sell parts out of a trailer at the local races in MD. Their sons raced MX and BMX. We would make the trek to MD to race all the time and see them at the track. That address in Pasadena was their home they bought when Hutch really took off. We used to go there sometimes after races and jump our bikes into the water off the dock.

Great poster. I had a couple of redlines and a diamond back growing up, all long gone. A few years ago I bought and "restored" a diamond back viper. It was small though so I gave it to a girlfriend

Now I have a Star (pretty rare I think, the company evolved into GHP) waiting for the same treatment.

Star Bars, Greg Hill started (or his Dad) then created GHP (and GHP is in production again)

If you look close at my Hutch Cruiser, you will notice that the forks are GHP (I kept breaking Hutch forks)..

Really? Awesome! My neighbor said he found a guy fetching ~$1500 for the ones he had in excellent condition. That is stupid (good) money for a used bicycle.
