I like to listen or read and reply. I am sure many of us are sorry for the things we say. And I am sure many of us are sorry that we did not reply. That's why I am replying. Jump in with both feet and sometimes suffer the consequences.More fun that way. Some could say I am verbose. I just don't get it:DSmileWavy:)

I notice I reply more when I'm good and liquored up...

fastfredracing 01-05-2012 04:06 PM

I do this, I will type up a lengthy reply, read it over, and think that some things are just better left unsaid, and delete the whole thing.

pete3799 01-05-2012 04:07 PM

This is my 3'rd reply

island911 01-05-2012 04:37 PM

just let it fly . .

watz the wusrt dadt can happen?

944Larry 01-05-2012 04:37 PM

I always reply. I'm too shallow to self analyze myself as far as my replies being appropriate and unoffensive. That make sense? Did I not need to reply here?

Zeke 01-05-2012 04:41 PM

About a forth of the time I just hit "go" and abandon whatever it was that I typed. If it doesn't interest me beyond the 3rd sentence, it surely won't interest you.

And that's assuming what I do post is of any interest.

OK, I've aborted this reply 4 times....Here goes #5:

How many times you reply with a very witty comment - and then be wide awake in the middle of the night and think: Did I really engage in that act of "Drunken Keyboarding"? Most times, you go back to sleep and check the 1st thing in the morning; often deleting the post.

On rare occasions, you get out of bed in a cold sweat and face reality...

When reading dribble of others, it's wise to check the time it was posted!

never in fact I start threads and give replies even when I don't want to

A virtual biting of the tongue... I find myself doing it more often lately.

TheMentat 01-05-2012 09:17 PM

Funny you should mention it... I was just talking about this with my wife the other day...

I used to "get into it" during the pre-PARF era, until a fellow porschephile made a comment about some of the heated debates I was partaking in. I was a bit embarrassed about it at the time, and I now am much more reserved when it comes to debating in a public forum.

Plenty of times.

What I dislike is being is a thread killer (last one to post).
