My opinions aren't always that important, especially after the tenth time I have posted them.

OTOH, my stereo goes to 11...

I occasionally change my mind and decide not to post what I have written. But the real problem is when I should change my mind, but don't.

I write out posts and then hit the back button way more now that I used to. Helps to write it out though - but often isn't worth sending as there is no "winning" in the interwebs...

I do this quite frequently. I especially find myself doing this when I find myself typing up the same retort to the same person for the same fallacy. I believe my actual post count would be double if I always hit submit.

I just let someone else say what I'm thinking and quote them followed by some brainless verbage of my own.

Ain't that the truth. But you do win praise for your posts.

Better to wait and think a reply out. At least, here. PARF is a different story apparently.

porsche4life 01-08-2012 11:13 AM

No thought is required in Parf....

NONE....

Started, posted, deleted.....do it all the time.

Just did it. Twice.

Burnin' oil 01-13-2012 03:32 PM

Just did it twice, too. Once on Rwebb's earthquake thread - a comment about his insulation batts being upside down, and on Motion's UPS truck thread about his "Favorite photo" of lily on his Ferrari I was going to say that coincidentally that was MY favorite photo as well - but it seemed a bit lecherous - particularly if lily saw it. And I also wasn't sure it was Lily.

This is a great thread. I think I'll just post all of my deleted posts here, where they are confidential.

Then, well, then there's you . . .

This is an example of a reply I would ordinarily not post because it sounds mean, which it may be - who knows.

That is because you ARE mean!

Mean, mean burnin oil...

Meanest man that walks on soil...

Meaner than a junk yard dog...

Meaner than a county fair hog...

Ok, well... it needs some work...
