iPad as a Day Planner?
I'm still stuck in 2011 with my day planner pages, and my current leather binder is shot. Before I get raped for $80 worth of cheap leather and paper, I wanted to see if there are any good iPad alternatives. I'd like an app that will allow me to take notes based on the current day either via touch screen or stylus, and sync of notes to a PC would be nice. Nothing fancy, just simple and effective. Any ideas?

Maybe something like Google Caledar?
I'm running Win 7 PC/notebooks and a WM smartphone, and am getting by just fine with Outlook 07 that pipes in (and syncs) Google Apps (mail, calendar, docs, etc.) as well as existing Outlook contacts/appointments/recurring events/etc. |

i pad works great. Particularly if you use the iCloud feature. All notes, appointments, act go to all your devices and they are kept in the cloud.
Don't have to worry about losing your daytimer.

I use OneNote (Microsoft) but on a real PC tablet. --it's the best that I have found.
I know that its available for the ipad, but believe that it's the simpler phone version - which makes sense with the ipad having a phone OS. here it is http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/microsoft-onenote/id410395246?mt=8

do you want to sync your calendar between different devices - like your phone, home computer, work computer?
Then, you might want to get a device that can use the same 'cloud' that your other devices use.

The iCal app that comes free with the iPad is what I use cross-platform. Decent, basic scheduler. Add iCloud and you have it all.

I looked at all suggested, thanks but it's still not what I'm looking for. All I really want is to take notes on a given day and have them organized as such. I don't need a scheduler, as I have one via work Outlook and Blackberry. Other suggestions?
