How to copy files from SATA drive?

I've got power going to the drive and it's connecting via USB. I'm not seeing the drive, however.

I did get a message that it was installed and ready to use. Ok, so how do I access it?

I'm using Vista, FWIW.

I'm on Disk Management and can't change the drive paths to see it.

Did you create a partition on the drive first?
