PPOT Gift Exhange v3.0 Results

Merry Christmas everyone! It seems no one has made a thread yet, so here it is. The official results thread.

I couldn't wait to open my package the last couple hours. I was widgeon13's victim. He sent me some cool stuff. A Jaguar racing hat, a utility knife and a How to on Solo Racing. That book is going to be read a couple times. Thanks widgeon13.

The book by Hank Watts will be a good read for sure. He is quite the driver. We work on his rig at our shop.

Many thanks go to Head416 for my present!

Are you guys trying to convert me to a 911?

Although, I have to ask where the knives came from... That's a pretty large assortment, and they aren't necessarily cheap knives either....
Several Victorinox here, including one from the Scott Base, that contains a lighter, as well as a cool little SOG, a CRKT, and a Kershaw chive...
The black camillus is lever opening and the lever resembles a 1911 safety.
Then there are the big knives...

Here is a Gerber, a Boker Matic, a large Filet knife, and a Buck 110 that appears to have spent all its life in the sheath!

Now I have a choice in my carry knives!

Thanks again!

Yes, I know, I've lusted after one for years.... The torsion bar is missing, but Kershaw will repair or replace for free.

Thanks to Kim(Snapper33) for my gifts!!

The book looks very interesting and will be a great cold, winter day, stay in the house, read.

Now, out to the garage to figure where that Mocal is going to go on the 911.

I got a cool "posche" patch from Scott/scooter. It's like 12" long...kinda thing that'd go on the back of a jacket....too big for a hat. Now I need to find a jacket for it or a race suit. Thanks!

GT350Mike sent me a pair of ESS Crossbow "ballistic eyeshields." Very cool! They'll come in handy for running and biking here in AZ. They must be good as they're the only approved eye protection for the US Marines. Thanks Mike!

A big thank you to Gooch1971-- a couple cool posters, some Porsche stuff for my kids, and an awesome Porsche keychain that my 911 key is freshly attached to. A nice letter and pic of his family at Wrigley Field too. I now have a friend and fellow Cubs fan in OK. Thanks Chad-- much appreciated!

Great stuff from johnco

Well blended goodie basket of p-car, electronics, implements of destruction, and Louisiana heritage ...... Civil war Musket balls, knives, power squid, A/C tester, cds.... and an Eviltron that I will use to torment friends and family.... I already know it's first victim.

Thank you.

Took some time to unwrap everything from my buddy David (targa911S) but everything's here for a relaxing day: A nice Chemex drip coffee rig with a box of filters and a big bag of French roast, some fine cigars and a very nice coffee table book on "The Blues". Man, did you ever knock it out of the park! Thanks!

Thanks Herr_oberst

What a cool formula 1 pop up book! The art of racing in the rain was going to be my next purchase on Amazon, sweet!
Also, can't have enough books on the greatest sports car ever made and a die cast pick up truck to add to my small collection of cars (3).
Merry Christmas Mike and family and a prosperous 2012.
God Bless
Jesse

Christmas gift from Wayne (Oh Haha)

My Christmas gift from Wayne (Oh HaHa). The pic of James Dean is too cool, and the drum tool will be used every two weeks, when I play the drums at church. The book is great, my mother is going to read it 1st as she's flying to FL this afternoon. I'll read it after her. Thanks again, Wayne! Have a very Merry Christmas!!

David, (LSA) sent me an entire discography of a German Band, Running Wild and an awesome Porsche book that I had not seen before. He wrote, "Also a book of some properly awesome fast cars to enjoy with your new awesome fast music." Well done and very thoughtful David, thank you. Merry Christmas.
