Anyone have a recent FireFox crash?

I loaded an upgrade to FireFox and it crashed.....had to do an uninstall after a restart and an MS repair. Anyone else have this problem?

I only use FF because Gmail won't support IE8 and IE9 sucks....

I have FF and every once in a great while it "crashes" - very seldom actually....but then if I do a restart it comes back just fine and even remembers my sites that were loaded when the crash occurred. I've never had to do a re-install

I'm not dissatisfied enough to change at the moment - but thanks for the heads up on Chrome, 924.....

FireFox and Chrome both crash multiple time every day for me, Shockwave is usually the stated culprit... The recent batch of browsers are the worst I've ever experienced. and I go way back to the Netscape days!

I just upgraded to FF9 the other day. My FF rarely crashes. I haven't had any issues.

I keep Flash disabled and only enable it if I watch a video, then disable it when I'm done. My FF rarely crashes. Sometimes Gmail takes over my computer if I leave it open in a tab, requiring me to end the browser session so I navigate away from Gmail when finished with it.

Never crashes.

So far the new beta FF/Aurora is good.

Take another look at IE 9. I am a long time FF user and the last version has been buggy enough that I have jump over to IE when I hit a problem.

Same here but then I have a lot of windows (prolly 6) open and multiple tabs on each, so am using it pretty hard.

Chrome is ok but its a real memory hog and will not release memory once you close a tab or window, so am back with FF.

Ditto. I gave up on Firefox a few months ago because it seems to have become very buggy.
