Would any of u doctors out there...
give me some idea of what is wrong with my father in law. He has been in the hospital for about a week now after he fell. No apparent broken bones but he has had 3 blood transfusions.Apparently his haemoglobin levels are low. He is almost 96 years of age. They are being tight lipped at the hospital about what is wrong with him or else they truly dont know. He has swollen ankles and blood in his urine. His pallor is pasty white ie. not much color. He has slow growing prostate cancer as well. Any ideas would be appreciated

Tight lipped? How about a relative go see the doctor and demand to know WTF is going on?

He has more problems than related to a fall... maybe only coincidental with the fall... he is 96...
That aside - you have a right to know- go to the hospital director and exercise your rights. |
