Does this sound like anyone here?

Does this sound like anyone here? This is from another forum and I was wondering if this person posts here.

"I have a 550, 944, GT2, GT3, 964, and a Cayman. All but the 550 are regularly driven."?

Why on Earth would you own a GT2 and a 944? Just doesn't make sense.

Is this person from Washington state and also owns a few Ferraris? And most of them are white?

There are lots of people with lots of cars in this world but that's not the ownership profile of a Pelican that I've ever seen. We have some successful people for sure but boards like "6-speed online" have all the guys with a half million dollars worth of cars in their stable. And they're usually totally redundant, completely uninteresting collections.

Probably started with a 944..... I'll always have one 944 in the stable, no matter what other high buck iron I have.

That guy definitely has some great cars but it's still a little redundant for me. To many similar, (and not really collectible), Ferraris, for instance. My dream collection would be extremely varied and focus almost exclusively on super-collectible, appreciating iron. Lots of Porsches but only one newer model for DD use.

To each their own, however. I'm dreaming, (like car guys are known to do), and this guy has his cars.

Only had one collectable car...it was becoming a PITA for me. My lottery fantasies don't center around cars these days. More of a fantasy is a private "pool hall" game room...set up for pool on both bar & 9' tournament tables, snooker table, heated 3 cushion billiards table. Just those 4 tables would require a pretty large space.

Yep, to each his own...

Mark? Yep, he's only a couple years older than me. I'm really in the wrong business....... 10 car garage at home, needed a hangar for additional toys. And all of them are top-notch.

I met Mark at a 6speed lunch a few years ago... super nice and down to earth. He was driving that GT3RS, but seemed interested in hearing about my beater 3.2. I have no idea what he does - I felt it would have been crass to broach the subject, though in retrospect he probably wouldn't mind.

The guy that I'm asking about only has those cars, I believe, but there could be more by now.

Oh those are mine. Glad to clear things up. I might be selling the 550, so PM if interested. And don't knock the 9-4-4. Now where did I put that crack pipe?

Reminds me of that upscale rural area outside of Snohomish.

Nice garage....
