It needs a custom voice, like custom ringtones.

I have used vingo on my Galaxy S2. It is fairly slick. My admin just got a new 4S today and she's messed with Siri a bit. Seem to be comparable, though Apple as usual has done a better job of integration across the platform. The good thing is that google sees Siri as a major competition and is beefing up their NLR group.

Swype is cool...

I just went and played it one. Well, I'll be charitable and say it needs to learn my voice perhaps. I'm still stuck on the single email signature. That's a major PITA for someone that runs multiple identities.

If you just quit the CIA things might be a lot easier...

I like the size of the iphone...I find it to be right at the limit of what is comfortable to carry in the pocket of a pair of jeans.

it is big (heh, that's what she...uh, never mind). I wear cargo pants almost all the time so size doesn't matter. I can actually read the fonts which does matter. The accessibility function on iOS helps, but the smaller screen combined with the hi resolution can make it difficult.

The AMOLED + works fine in daylight. It is frankly better than the HTC display and as good or better than my iPhone 3G. I haven't used a 4 or 4S regularly so I can't comment on usability outdoors of that screen.

I'd LOVE to have swype on my ipad. And I've seen that if you jailbreak, there is a version of swype that you can install on iStuff, but it's not a global keyboard replacement yet. It only works in the built in apps so far. Or at least, that's what I understand.

Yeah, that's what she said too, but don't believe it. She was just trying to make you feel better.

I've found that if you speak at it naturally, it does a better job. Doesn't seem to want to add any punctuation, though.

Ditto. I'm not a phone holster guy, and anything fatter than an iPhone sucks to carry in a pocket. From the looks of things I won't be upgrading though, I don't see anything that makes me want to discard my iPhone 4.
