Gonna be in Long Beach for the week of 1/30 to 2/3

I am going to be in the Long Beach area during this time so if anybody wants to grab dinner at a good restaurant, I am game! Have to be somewhat early dinners... need to be in the operating room at 6 AM!

Won't have time to surf. Double sad face...

An example: Beer is one hand and waving the other hand around to give emphasis to the already heavily exaggerated story "There must have been fifty of us in the water and I was the only one to see the cleanup sized set (wave) on the horizon, so I paddled a bit further out without being noticed. Suddenly this wave, about the size of that appartment building over there, appears. I turned and paddled hard into it. Everybody scattered as I took the drop, a freefall of what must have been 12 feet then drove hard into a bottom turn...."

I am just asking a simple question... anybody available for dinner while I am in town? This should not ellicit that many comments, right? Either yes or no, or here are some restaurants you should hit, right?

You would get better responses if you ever posted about "I am going to be in Phoenix" so anyone interested in getting together!

George, my point was that several times a week someone asks the same question, so let her be, she is going to be in town, just wants to meet some pelicans...

My location has nothing to do with you being an ass, and I will leave it at that. I have met tweeze, after I posted a similar thread.

Have a gig Mon night but nowhere near LB. I am heading down to Camp Pendleton on Wed and will be coming back up north towards the end of the day, driving on the 405 right past LB. Depending on the timing I could do dinner. If wed works pm me your number and we'll see if it works.

Jeez, the life of the party, Porshceophile left town a year or so ago. Left me and some other odd sucks to mind the store. No surf here anyway.

You going to be at Memorial? Just down the street. But, the most importantly is where you stay. Lots of boutique restaurants in LB and some are quite good. So, there's no reason to eat at a boring greazy spoon.

I can't believe it, but on 4th street, the gay bastion, they now have single parking spot size decks they park in the street in front of some restaurants. It's like sitting on a parade float and getting served.

You gotta see this shc!t. And don't worry about what you are asking for, it's all fair game on 4th street. It's even safe!

Have dinner and a drink with Todd. He is a gentleman and will keep you out of trouble!

Belmont Shore is over rated and crowded, but it sure beats downtown. That is unless you know exactly where you are going. Not a good place to be wandering around alone whereas BS is fine going solo.

I hope that isn't the case.
