It was a productive weekend

.

Finally starting to get a head of steam on this project. Life has been in the way for the last 6-7months. Hope to have some smoke coming out of the pipes by April .

Nothing too fancy to see there except for new guides sticking through. Early 930, and I am not going to intercool, and my p/c's were perfect, so this will be a mostly stock/mild build. I will document the whole build on the engine building forum when I am done.

Just curious...

Why the need to post pictures of a rebuild of a 911 engine in Off Topic Discussion Forum..

As opposed to the dedicated forums? either the Porsche 911 Technical Forum or the 911 Engine Rebuilding Forum???

Curious minds want to know...

I hang out here more. Just a Couple of quick pics of what I did this weekend. Wanted to make a more detailed thread in the engine building forum when I had a little more time to dedicate to it.

Damn, and I was relatively pleased with fresh Royal Purple in the gearbox and brake fluid bleed on the 996, an oil change and new air filters in the wife's Armada, and mounting a set of Hellas on the Land Rover. Now I feel lazy.
