I'll just ad, there has been a lot of Pelicans drop out of OT since 08, its nice to see that when one of us get in a pinch, ralley around a loss of family, or need a boot to butt (or to get to hospital as ex) the Pelicans come out of the wood-work to help each other out. Laying any personal differences aside for the help of someone whom you may never meet personifies this place. There's nowhere like it that I've seen!

This site is more enjoyable and with really decent people behind the keybords. Actually I avoid most net forums except for some special interest groups but this community on Pelican is great. Cheers and wishing all good health and well being - Scott

I too have sold all my Porsches & paraphernalia but hanging ou here is one of my few good habits.

Let the record show that I was the recipient of one of the most generous Pelicanhead gestures. BlueSkyJaunte GAVE me a 1978 Honda CB750K. I still owe him pictures of me riding her, which I should have delivered long ago and intend to do soon.

I still would like to have a really big party and invite everybody here. Now THAT would be some fun right there. This place saved my life, literally.. You don't get that on stinking facebook. But ya know there have been many events along the way. I remember some guys here putting a fellow pelicans car together after he passed away for his widow and family.....then the house fire....my stroke ..I'm sure there have been others. This really is a special place with special people.

Good to know that there are nice people out there!
