i've said it before. this place has become a pretty cool place to visit. sure we bicker and fight like old married people that hate each other sometimes. i'm sure people's IGNORE list are all over the place. (mines empty)

remember my family searching for LAKER tickets to fill a portion of my dad's bucketlist? i got a PM from Craig almost right away. no promises, but he may be able to help. then outta nowhere craigster comes through!! the man sends me 4 tickets to Laker versus the Spurs!! SA is my mom's favorite team. plus a parking pass!! my parents were so wishywashy..they didnt want to commit. Craig sent them anyways.

my family is full of cynical people. i called them and told them of craigs gesture. i immediately got questions like:

"how do you know this guy?" i dont.
"then why is he sending you tickets?" silence (hard to explain PPOT)
"is it a scam?" he said the tickets are a gift.

the doctor moved some chemo treatments around so they can make the trip to LA. the plan is to have the family meet them so we can hang out. i hope to send my parents and their best friends to the game. (like a double date for them) my dad's health is fading, so i hope he has the strength to go in april. mentally, he is down..but Craig gave him a major boost. he is hoping to make the game..he has always wanted to see the lakers, and do some star gazing.

on behalf of my family..i just wanna say: thanks Craig. this means alot to us.

I haven't had a Porsche in a few years, and I don't know when I will again. Regardless i visit almost every day. I don't really post much as I am out of my depth on so many things, but the knowledge experience and above all spirit of community keeps me coming back. I'm with the rest of you!
