Ferrari 599 replacement... F620GT.. with photo

Exclusive: This is the 2013 Ferrari F620 GT

740 horsepower V12, but waaaay too much FF design language. I'm disappointed as the 599 was a beautiful car. Maybe it will grow on me

I like the FF styling (the front half). Especially the eggcrate grille. But this car has too many other creases and frills.

Looks like a hot wheel!

But if someone wants to give me one I will force myself to drive it!

Okay, this rendering is a little better. Maybe I'll reserve judgement until more photos come out

As it should be.

And it won't have 740 horsepower, or that furious V12 song.

To me... looks like a corvette with a body kit...

But I would bet it is more fun to drive that a barrel full of lesbians.

As it should.

Italians, especially Ferrari engineers, secretly love corvettes.

F620 - first reaction... interesting, looks all business with some F1 influence. Usually what happens when I see a Ferrari image and then afterwards see it for real, I love it.

Forget the stats for a moment as its off the charts. But for looks, the perspective from different angles, shadows, color, the size of it is probably off the charts too. Way beyond my means but just terrific these Italians make masterpiece machinery and some lucky few get to have them.

About that new NSX. The 'transformers' smile doesn't do much for me, and talk about a starched shirt creases, but then again it might look sensational in real. But going back to 1990, it was a treat at first sight and further drive one of the first test mules (sans serial number). I'll take one in silver please.

I don't like many of the new (post '90s) Ferraris. Some are respectable- 360, 430, 458 to some extent. But starting with the 599 I think they started losing something. These new designs don't have the old language. Take the badges off it and it could be some new Japanese car. Say what you want about Porsche's designs, and the new Panamera and Cayenne , but you look at any Porsche product and you know it's a Porsche.

To me, Ferrari cannot top the style that evolved from the Pininfarina styles of the 80's... which culminated in the 355.

I blasted around in a new California for 2 weeks back in December. There was no Japanese spoken, only screaming Italian.
