Why is this so difficult? Of course Rick is correct, but one could wire that differently and have 230v. One could even wire a 230v machine with those wires and have a 120v light for the work. No additional wires needed.
Well, just to be perfectly clear, you would need 2 additional wires only between the devices if you want 230 at each location. But, I digress. |
