Interesting enough all the league's stars are out. No O-fense left. Not sure if I like that, jury is out. Have no affiliation but... GO OYTES!

Safer for the NHL to see Phoenix and New Jersey and wish the other two teams were there.

^^^^^^ Sure is starting to look that way. The "other shoe" seems to have dropped on the Yotes.
Cheers JB

ya it is interesting if your idea of interesting is listining to a blow hard who's trying to control popular/unpopular belief, Torts is a turd IMO and I only watch to see what an "a" hole he comes accross as, must be the NY hype but he'd get eaten alive in Canada as a coach/diver
The Yotes are toast, sad to say but I think its true, I just hope the Kings have some gas left for the Devils. Its not that my Canucks are out but I have found this years playoffs not quite up to par, I blame Bettman, giving 4-5 day breaks when there should be none, just another reason why he deseves the lead treatment. GB is so pro eastern that it sucks and his changes to our game have left nothing but sour tastes. He should just die and that would be his biggest gift to all hockey fans. We need a re-release of Maclean & Maclean's hit , "Dolly Parton's Tits" using Torts and bettmans names, it would probably go gold at home. ![]() Finn

Hey Finn
Haven't thought of those guys (Maclean & Maclean) in years. "Toilet House Rock" was one of their albums I believe. Good stuff. Torts is a coprolite & quite the hypocrite to boot. He treats the media like crap but once he gets 'gassed' by team management, he crawls back for a job as an analyst. I have to agree with you, the Kings look like the team to beat. Cheers JB

I often wonder if Torts is just putting on an act deflecting attention from his team. It is the sort of thing Glenn Sather would approve of.
Say what you will, Brad Richards came back to play for him, and without Brad they wouldn't be this close to the final. One more thing: Imagine you had a job where you had to manage publicly and be asked questions by people that may not know as much as you do about your trade. I have a VP that does that once a month, and it really pisses me off. I couldn't bear to do it 82 times a year. And if I was a writer, I can see a lot of fun in 'poking the bear'.

I don't think Torts gives a rat's you-know-what about what anyone thinks. He's there to support his players and win games. Last I checked, he's doing a pretty good job on both. You've got to give him bonus points for not pulling punches. Kings in 5 Rangers in 6 The result is a true East/West showdown.

What I'd like to see during the playoffs is a series of interviews, kinda like a where are they now series, Kelly Hrudy could do the interviews of the retired greats, my pick for first interview would be Bobby O, as a kid he was my idol and after these guys retire you hardly hear about them anymore. Espo, Lafleur, Gretskey, Bure, the list would be huge. I could watch that stuff all day long. Devils in 6 Kings in 5 Finn

Don't be too hard on yourself especially since they spelled it wrong in his press release when they signed him and several times in news articles when he was playing here.
