Yes, and after you miss with both barrels, you can fumble around doing your "combat reload" before the assailant closes the 1 foot distance.

With all the .32 cal, 7 round semi autos barely bigger than an adult's palm, I can't think of any reason to carry a glorified derringer.

One of my favorite rifles is a Ruger #1 in 45.70... and its a handful.

Cannot imagine a .45.70 in a derringer...
