Milt,

You can see in the video posted the front skeg is solid.
In other videos on the site they show the aircraft coming in to land on the wheel behind the pilot, then settling down on the skeg as it stops.
In the bungee assisted take-offs, the nose is immediately raised and the craft rolls a few feet on the 'main wheel'

Neat, minimalist.

A good advertisement for ballistic parachutes, no? Anyway, I think I like the idea of a real sailplane a whole lot more. I bet you could get a super, time tested, and lightly used 2 place sailplane for the price of that . . .
