To The Guy In My Backyard on Tuesday Night...

You are lucky.

When you broke into my shed, you found only plant food and roundup. I don't know what you thought you'd find. Do you realize that shed is right below my bedroom window? I could hear you.

When I was scoping out the backyard with my flashlight, my trusty 4-cell Maglight was broken, so I was forced to use this instead:

I checked both of the gates, they were closed. When I got up the next morning, the north gate was open. That must mean you were hiding behind the raspberry plants and left after I went back inside. I'm sure you were scared. You have good reason to be. Next time I will check the whole back yard.

Sorry to hear about that. When you were out at my place and I told you the story of the guys who broke into my cars I didn't mention how lightly I slept after that. The sounds of cat foot steps in the grass woke me up in the middle of the night. I was more nervous of retaliation than anything. Hopefully when they rummaged through your shed they realized there was nothing worth swiping therefore they won't be back.

It still must have been a scary site for the person if they were hiding in the bushes to see you come out of the house Glock or not. Check for human waste droppings in the bushes. That is where they were hiding.

If you had a good dog, things like that would not happen

If you had a gun turret with a .50 Caliber, things like that would not happen

I was thinking the same thing.....the smell of unadulterated fear.

I put a trail cam up in my back yard. It wasn't long until I found a picture of someone trying to get in to a car on my driveway at 5 in the morning.
