Not Haunted

I've got this great little house for sale, but for whatever reason the listing has gone "stale", and we haven't had a showing for a few weeks. I met with the owners, and they asked me to try something unconventional to generate interest.

So...

Install a witch in it and u might get more customers in it albeit strange ones:):):)

I'd put a new walkway in. New front door. That place just looks sad.

porsche4life 06-07-2012 05:01 PM

You need a big message center out front saying that... ;)

Gee... Wonder who could hook you up with that..... ;)

Add "THAT HOUSE SOLD LAST WEEK" to your sign. Or that it's in the next block over.

Many houses look dark inside. In addition to Zeke's suggestions, the trees and bushes need cutting. It would make the place look more trim and look less gloomy. Don't the Real Estate agents make suggestions like this to sellers to get the place sold?
That would be one of the first questions I would put to my agent if I was selling my house. What do I have to do to this house to sell it?:)

What if I want something certifiably haunted?
Something like that, I'd take a real interest in.

When we bought our house a few decades ago neighbors told us we bought a haunted house. Both of my kids and the wife swear they have seen something over the years. One of my sons ex-girlfriends refused to return to my house after seeing something.
I wonder if I should attach a "haunted" sign to the for sale sign now.

slodave 06-08-2012 12:50 AM

I think it was the bugs, Rick. Those things were freaky!

Rick V 06-08-2012 12:52 AM

You see one little spider in my house and all of a sudden it is a 1968 B horror movie. :D

slodave 06-08-2012 12:56 AM

Little!!! That was huge! In Vash fashion, I think I may have peed myself a little.

The other creepy crawlies were no fun either. :D

G seemed to like the insects here, or was that the other way around?

Milt has a point, but I think just leveling the walkway, painting the front and garage doors in a brighter color and trimming back that bush at the walk/sidewalk junction would make a great difference in presentation.

Have fun, my friend.
