NASCAR and Speed Channel . . . Blowing each other regularly

Quit breaking into LeMans coverage to talk about BS NASCAR. Really. Lefthand turns and spec racing belong elsewhere. If I wanted to have a love affair with a man, sure, I'd become a NASCAR fan. But I like real cars, so please keep your filthy France-controlled hands off my friggin' tv.

You should be listening to radiolemans.com for commentary
And when they go NASCAR check Audi tv web site for in car video
Much better than listening to the mess that NASCAR is

This. It's what I've been doing the whole time.

yeah, pretty fed up with the stupid speed channel, leave the cool Le Mans race to go to a stupid NASCAR practice session.

You don't feel fortunate that Speed gives you something like 18 hours out of 24? After all, Speed is owned by part of the NASCAR group of companies. They could show you Daytona prototypes instead.

In the US, there are A LOT more people interested in NASCAR than the 24 Hours...I'm not one of them but I'd bet there is a 5:1 ratio of NASCAR guys complaining about SPEED's coverage of that "frenchie" race instead of NASCAR

Come on, you dont see the need for 2 hrs of comments from all the NASCAR crowed because they are being issued a new tire tomorrow.

They were expected to only run 198 mph, but they are running 202 instead.

I got a little fed up with this when, in the first 5 min, the 6 drivers they interviewed were saying, "well, it will be the same for everybody", but SpeedTV still had to interview 10 more drivers, 9 crew chefs, 35 SpeedTV commentators, some guy named Bob, and televise the extra practice that was added.

Me I could have waited for the results on NASCAR Victory Lane and/or SPEED Center's 45 min coverage in their 1 hr program and/or the rebroadcase of NASCAR Victory lane and or NASCAR Race Hub and/or Nascar Live and or Nascar Now and/or TrackSide at ... and/or NasCar RaceDay and/or Nascar This Week

Now there's some irony you could pick up with a magnet.

OK, I get that waaay more people like & watch NASCAR. Therefore, Speed Channel. It seems, and I don't think I'm exaggerating, that every time I turn on the SC, it's NASCAR......AND it's not a NASCAR race. It's practice, Qualifying or some kind of pit competition. Does SC even broadcast the race? Plus, why is Petty Jr. such a expert??

I like any kind of motorsports and am glad for any coverage. Le Mans is one place on my bucket list but.......after another Audi sweep why bother to watch. We know whos going to win. At least the "big" class.

Yep, BREAKING NEWS on NASCAR. The tires were not right so they gave them more practice time on Sat. with new ones. Wow, now that is some news, from 202 to 198mph. And to televise all of it on national TV, IT IS AND WAS A WASTE OF TIME. IMO.
