Eric, $hit! Sorry for your loss. What a beautiful animal/partner/friend. Very sorry for your loss. Dread the day when we need to say good bye to our two boxers. It sucked when we had to do it with out 2 labs.... Dread the day...
Remember all of the good times and how much joy you brought to each other. Cheers |
She was a good looking girl, Eric. I am very sorry to hear of your loss.
How old was she? |
I hate to read these threads/posts where we lose one of our buddies...
Beautiful pup...best to you Eric. |

I will give my two girls a lot of extra hugs today for your girl, Eric. I'm so sorry......she was beautiful and she had a great life. You will see her again..... |
Thanks for the kind words guys and gals. She was 13, but still had plenty of life in her left, if it wasn't for cancer. She had bone cancer and had to get one of her hind legs amputated to save her. In one of the last chemo treatments they discovered a polyp in her rectal lining, but it turned out to be something else that went into deep tissue. A different kind of cancer appeared a few months later, but cancer nevertheless. It wasn't advised to put her under chemo again, and her crying in pain from pooping seemed like it was time. We had a gathering on Friday with her friends one last time... it seemed like she knew. She got lots of treats and all the pets and belly rubs she could want before having to cross the bridge ahead of us.

So,so sorry.

Dog Food
Hello Everyone,
What kind of dog food do you guys recommend? We are currently giving our Beagle Nutro Grain Free food but now we're hearing that grain free can lead to heart problems. Our vet say to use Purina, the stuff that you can buy at any grocery store. What say you? Thanks. Larry |
My Vet and I are good friends - he states that Purina spends more money in R&D for the health and betterment of the animals than all the others combined. Also that some of the boutique brands spend a larger parts of their budget on just marketing.
Specifically Pro-plan / Purina is what's recommended. |

Nutro is good stuff! I get mine delivered here straight from Chewy. Note the "Senior" tag - because my 2 girls are 14 - and seniors. They are very healthy and are not on any meds (knock on wood) and I attribute much of their health to this product. The older one has had some mobility issues in the past and other things but all good now. https://scontent.ftpa1-1.fna.fbcdn.n...90&oe=5EA476B8 |

Grain Free
Well, since you asked...
These came highly recommended by our holistic veterinarian (as well as extensive research by Mrs. OnZedge): Weruva "Dogs in the Kitchen" canned dog food varieties. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1578352307.jpg Honest Kitchen "Grain Free" freeze-dried (bulk pack). http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1578352329.jpg Primal raw frozen formula. We get the starter variety packs because Ricky and Lucie are only ~10 lbs each, and we thaw as needed for each meal. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1578352658.jpg You can get all of these at Hollywood Feed. |
The DOG thread
This little fella just joined our household. I’ve dog allergies including asthma but the benefit to my kids is worth the suffering. He’ll be a bird dog when he gets older. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2263978b9.jpeghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6dd2c548e7.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...098d9296c8.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6e3a4e32ce.jpg
