Nice photo, Geary - Godspeed Snoop!

Looks like Sir Winston has found himself a home, Bugs. NICE!

Now here we have a perfect example of the infamous ACD stinkeye....

Hahahaha,

Thanks Bas, the biggest hurdle for our new little guy is trust. We are hoping that he will warm up to us in time. He has yet to utter a peep and seems a little down. We are including him in everything we are doing. He hung with me at the hanger today, so we are working through it.

Regarding the ACD Stink Eye, just be sure to check your shoes before wearing..... Ask me how I know. Murphy, my first ACD was the only dog I ever argued with. Smartest little bugger I've ever known. (he is missed every single day)

John your cat desperately wants to be a dog.

My cat Toby sometimes won't take no for an answer and comes on dog walks. I'm confident he can find his way home from anywhere on the walk so I'm not too worried. He also waits at the gate for the dogs and I to come back home if we are out.

All you can do is keep giving him love and the socializing thing and in time he will come around. Poor little guy - no telling what he's been through.

Ha ha - my girls know who the pack leader is and they fully embrace the concept of not biting the hand that feeds them...and you know how much they WORSHIP food! Sorry for your loss, Bugs. I'm dreading that day myself - hard to even think about...

The DOG thread

Thanks Baz,

We have been giving him positive reinforcement and he has shown signs of coming around. He had his first vet visit on the 16th and he immediately took to a chair in the exam room so we know he like to sit up higher than floor level.

He has stepped up at home and likes personal contact with the wife.

Vet time:

Riding in the truck

Staking territory on the couch

Ignoring the new humans at 0430 getting up for work.

Baz,

Please excuse our self absorption with Henry, but I did want to ask you about Jake's status and how the little guy is doing.

Hey Bugs.....I LOVE your Sir Winston pics and updates. We are all pulling for him and so grateful he adopted a couple of great humans. he's very fortunate as are his humans. Post away - please!

Thanks for asking....here's the latest from Melissa (Jake's human)

Quote:
Jake update: Today was hopefully Jake's last appointment with the ophthalmologist. The last stitch was removed from his left eyelid. He still has a pinhole size hole in that eyelid that leaks when he hits his face on things. It should heal with time. A special thank you to everyone who helped support our family through this emotional journey over the last year and a half. We are so very appreciative of the love.

All the best - nose bonks to Sir Winston!
