American Tactical Apparel

A bit behind on orders right now, but a we'll thought out system.

American Tactical Apparel

I am trying to talk them into reversing the velcro, since the scratchly side ends up contacting the skin.

The girl looks like one of my ex-girlfriends, except for having a firearm...

Those clothes are hilarious. "Covert"? I think that when you see someone in khaki pants with a bazillion pockets all over the hips, butt, thighs, calves and a big seam zipper (cleverly highlighted by the contrasting pull tab), "covert" is not exactly what comes to mind. The jeans have some promise, maybe.

It's all Walter Mitty fantasy clothing. Some guys dress in drag, others wear "American Tactical".

"Professional door kickers" are wearing their gear on the outside. That brunette should conceal her weapon in her cleavage.

That stuff is cheesy. It's something all the POGs, and posers buy. You think you're cool because you buy and wear battle pants? lol

Appearently you don't understand. It lets you wear a full size pistol under the shorts. It is for concealed carry, not for overt show. The pistol goes under, not over.

John, I can agree with the idea of the large outer pockets being a little too obvious. On the other hand, I have cargo shorts that have more pockets than these things.

The side pull zipper on the actual models is the same color as the pants.

I'd like a perfectly normal looking pair of pants with a discreet pistol compartment, maybe on the seam at the thigh, and the internal support to avoid sag.

NO tacticool pockets! I do not need to carry ten loaded magazines, tactical flashlight, KaBar, maps, emergency shelter, night vision smartphone, cyanide pills. Just one quiet pocket for one modest handgun. Oh, no American Flag patch either. Kind of a dead giveaway that these aren't normal pants.

Columbia ROC pants have a second right front pocket with a discrete on seam zipper. Work great for a bug in a business casual environment. Mountain Khakis have several models of pants with a second on seam front pocket but no zipper. Both make a shorts version as well. If you want more pockets but don't want to look tactifool, look for vertx. I think that's it. Have to look up the spelling later.

A safety-orange hunting vest would be more 'covert' and 'tactical'

I have a pair of Propper's "tactical" pants that I use to work around the garage in and wear when i'm on the motorcycle. Ripstop nylon and comfortable. Call me a poser, whatever.

If you look at the ordering page, they can be ordered without any markings on them.

Who needs it to be covert? As long as it's covered and you're not printing, you don't cross the threshold of open carrying, which is the law in places that serve booze in AZ. I couldn't care less if they all think I'm carrying. As long as they can't see it, I'm legal.

I don't know Rick. It is tough to carry IWB or OWB and cover it enough and not printing, in shorts here in Houston.
