Dave MacNeil

I met Dave at the June Sprints in 1991 at Road America. He was racing a GTI out of the Chicago Region. He was very nice to me and my wife, chatting with us while waiting in the SSB pre-grid area. I have his floor mats in 2 of our vehicles, they are very high quality and last forever. I would not buy any other brand for my cars. DP

I thought we all agreed we act like a bunch 12 year olds? So 17 puts you WAY ahead of the curve, I think he was complimenting you!

And Viagra! Don't forget the Viagra! Hey... why are they always pitching Viagra to car guys? Should we be insulted?

My 944 came with a weathertech mat in the back... the 944 guys think it is great!

I like the look of the new mats way better than the old ones. He can advertise them any way he wants in my book.

I've got a set of his mats in my Ford Edge. I love them! Perfect fit, easy to clean and well built enough to survive my standard poodle, assorted children, the mountain bike and probably a minor nuclear blast.

Next set of mats I buy will be for Steve's truck and they will be Weathertech.

I'm on my third set in my '92 Toyota pickup. I ordered the first set the day I took delivery on the truck, and I have been totally happy with them ever since. To be fair, the second set I got were Grey, not Black; they wore out in about half the time as the originals. So, now, back to black and they look like brand new after a couple of years of rainy sloppy winters.

He has a cute girl on the main page of his website right now!

Maybe he has political aspirations beyond the floor mat business and he wants folks to know where he stands on things. I've never been put off by his ads, infact I have marvelled at what it costs him to run 4-page ads he puts in Car & Driver...

His floormats are great (put them in probably ten cars thus far) and he makes stuff in the USA. That's enough for me.
