Cost To Anodize?
Anyone ever get aluminum parts anodized? Not on a production basis, just on a one-off basis. Any range of cost you can say?
I was admiring some pimpin' gold bike parts. I want, I want. |

Why yes, yes I do. In fact, I work for a company that makes some pimpin' bike parts.
Generally, you can count on a minimum charge. I just had a batch of about 30 pieces (side project, not bike parts), 1" x 3.5" x .5" done for $50. My ano guy actually asked me if I really wanted to pay that much, as he said that I could have a bunch more done at the same price. YMMV. |

One thing to keep in mind, you have to polish those parts to a high gloss before you anodize, if you want super blingy!
