The coverage of the olympics they are doing is horrible and all they are doing is insulting Europe, the queen, and being an embarrassment to us all, it's no wonder Europeans think we are all idiots......
I watched to majority of the opening ceremonies online live and uncut and it was awesome......meredeth viera, Matt lauer and NBC are a bunch of ****ing morons.......

Thankfully, we have CTV (CDN network) coverage. But I thought the old girl (the Queen) was great in the Bond skit. The rest of the show was the usual with a few neat highlights. But Paul is getting embarrassing.

Read some twitter feeds, the actual ceremonies were hours ago, NBC has edited it, cut out some of the best stuff, and they won't shut the hell up, it's not the Macys parade.....
Most of the comments they are making are completely out of line IMO, making fun of countries, not knowing facts, etc......simply embarrassing....and horrible broadcasting...

It helps if you lower your expectations. I chose NOT to watch just because I'm tired of listening to the idiot broadcasters on NBC.

Worked in the garage listening to Aqualung and I gotta tell you - it was GREAT!

I have very low expectations of American broadcasting........fox is the worst....

My initial and continual ***** is the fact that NBC had made a mockery of something the many countries involved who take it seriously from an artistic standpoint.....it all has to do with respect and honor for those representing their country at this years olympics.....

Would you catch me sitting through an entire production? No......but I would to support my fellow countrymen.....
The whole point is the mockery and disrespect NBC has shown the world.....
