I purchased a little stand to hold a iPhone for $20 bucks. The stand looks fine but there were some design flaws that i had to tweak. Amazon sent me several emails encouraging me to leave feedback so, i did. scored 3 stars (neutral) and described what i felt was wrong with the stand and left it at that.
I received an email from the company urging me to reconsider my "negative" rating of the produce along with a $3 dollar "rebate" I tossed the email out, not worth it for me. Anyone else receive that kind of rebuttal to a product rating? If the product doesn't work, why reward the company with a good review? crazy.

They didn't bother to send me an email and the feedback I gave them was as negative as I could give. The product was poor. When it appeared to be lost in the post they told me that was my problem. When I told them it was their problem the guy accused me of threatening him. I payed extra for amazon's expedited shipping and it still took about 2 months to get to NZ. Pelican Parts cheapest rate, USPS, takes about three weeks.

Never had to deal with the feedback but I do know the vendors take it seriously. A couple of years I ordered a pair of phones from one of their storefronts and when they were not even shipped out the day they were supposed to have arrived I called the vendor and threatened to hammer him through Amazon.
My phones were overnighted to me and I had them the next day.
