Mom,
All of these comments are fantastic and sincere. Isn't it great to have a son that goes to bat for you and even better to know that there are so many good-hearted people that care about you? It just warms the heart. Hang in there and I will pray for you and your family. |
Dear Dave' Mom,
All the best for a speedy and full recovery from northeast PA. God bless you and your family. Dear Dave, This has helped me... I am hurt, but I am not slain I will lay me down and bleed awhile Then I will rise and fight again Matt |

Since your son has enough strength, courage and love of his Mother to ask us for such a simple favor I send you my best wishes for the strength and blessings you'll need for a speedy recovery. May heaven and all its host keep you in their grace during this trial. Know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of people you've never met... that is how special you are.

Mom - get well quick!

To Dave's Mom,
Greetings from beautiful Nova Scotia. Like the others who have responded to your Son's plea, I am one of "The Pelicans", part of this unique community of loveable lunatics. Like so many others, I am adding my voice to those wishing you well, praying for strength and recovery for you. Bless you for raising a son who cares so much for you. Love and prayers, Les |
To Dave's mom. My prayers are with you and I wish you a speedy recovery

Moms make the world go 'round. Show me a man who is good and kind and responsible, and I'll show you a guy who had a good mom. Get well soon, mom. It's important.

Sorry I'm late to the thread.
I met my mom for lunch yesterday while in my hometown for work. We almost lost her in the past year but she keeps bouncing back. I think that generation are some of the toughest folk ever made. Prayers and good wishes will be offered for your mom, RH. |

As the years go by, the age difference becomes less and less significant until you're just two people with the very best bond that friendship and love can offer. I hope your great friend recovers soon.

Hi Dave's Mom! SmileWavy
I really hope you get to feeling MUCH better soon! This is probably kind of weird, getting messages from people you've never met, and Dave's probably never met. The fact is, neither of you will probably EVER meet most of us. But that doesn't matter at all. Dave is a member of a rag - tag group of people that all share the common love of Porsches. We come from all different walks of life, we hardly ever agree on anything, and we tend to argue with each other quite a bit. You know, just like most Families do. And like most families, when one of us needs help, a prayer, or cheering up, we put all of the other stuff aside, and we gather 'round that person. Dave thought enough of you, to ask that we stop by and say Hi. I can tell you first hand that you have folks thinking about you all over the world right now, and we will EXPECT Dave to give us updates about you often, and keep doing so in the future. This great group of people gathered around me, and my Family, when my Father had a heart attack, when my Mother had a stroke, and even when my Dog Reggie passed away. So with that said, whether you like it or not, WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!!!!! I can't wait to hear how well you're doing, and how much you are improving. And, if you get a chance, we'd all LOVE to hear it from you! Just take the computer, or the phone away from Dave and drop us a line or twelve. I promise we won't bite. Besides, we'd rather talk to you, than Dave any way. Take care of yourself, and know that you are in ALL of our thoughts, prayers, and well wishes, from all over the globe! |
Best wishes fora speedy recovery!
Mom's are the best. |
Hello Dave's Mom, all the best in your speedy recovery, there are a lot of "pelicans thinking of you and your family. Regards,
Sandy |
Sorry to hear about your mom :( Here's hoping for better news and getting well!

I hope I'm not too late.
Well today happens to be my birthday, so I'll use my birthday wish to wish you a speedy and healthy recovery. Besides asking for words of encouragement, he asked that we reach out to our own mothers. I talk to my mom regularly, but have been meaning to write my grandmother a letter for a long time. Your son pushed me to do that today. My family's prayers are with you and your family. |
Verses of Hope. Our prayers are with you.
Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,And with my song I will praise Him. Psalm 62:1-2 Truly my soul silently waits for God;From Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved. Isaiah 40:29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; |
