Symptoms of bad gas?
The fuel in my race car is about 6 months old.
Car idles and revs smoothly. When I try to drive it, it sputters and has zero power. Won't rev up under load. Feels like cam timing is wrong. I've checked and re-checked and set and re-set. I have a weed whacker that had old gas in it. Wouldn't rev up or stay running. Changed out the fuel an it is like new. Thoughts? Jokes? KT

I've got a splash of 100 octane Avgas in my race car that is sitting. No alcohol, and stays stable for a very long time.
All of my small engines/yard equipment get nothing but Avgas. |

Usually pain in the abdomen and lots of bad smelling farts...
Did you eat beans recently?

I'm not confident the timing is right, due to the Variable Cam Timing on the exhaust cam.
If I can figure out a VCT delete, that would be nice. KT

I'll drain the fuel off and change the fuel filter on Monday or Tuesday.
