I always thought Clarabell was having fun too....him and his seltzer bottle chasin' old Bufflao Bob around.... Now that will boggle the mind of some of the young whipper snappers....:D

No so much a "who" as a "where"

In the watertower with the girls at Petticoat Junction (remember the title sequence?)

Or stuck on the island (Gilligan's Island) with Mary Ann. ;-)

Ok, if you made me pick some specific guy, it would be probably be either Chuck Connors (as The Rifleman) or Christopher George (leader of The Rat Patrol).

Or a 60's - 70's pro football player, especially Ray Nitschke, Joe Schmidt, Dick Butkus, or Ted Hendricks.

Or maybe Al Kaline, Norm Cash, or Bill Freehan.....

Wow !! I had forgotten ,I actually worked with a man who performed as a character named "Cowboy Bob" He was an elementary school teacher later in his life.
Did you realize that Clarabell was played by Bob Keeshan? Who went on to become famous as Capt kangeroo.

I'd like to add Maxwell Smart and Sam Malone to the list. Obviously at different stages of my life.
The elementary school that I went to had early dismissal every Wednesday (teacher development). My friends and I would all run home to catch Get Smart at 2:00 on those days.

Which reminds me.
I was once told that in the tune-Here`s uncle Joe, he`s a movin kinda slow at the Junction`.
Because he had BLUE BALLS from those 3 broads he`would be staring at having a bath in the water tower.
I though it was funny.

James West came in a close second.

Capt Tony Nelson in I Dream of Jeanie also had possibilities.

I wanted to be like Sky King but wound up being more like George "Kingfish" Stevens. You'll have to be really old to remember these two.
