ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! brought tears to my eyes watching him.
i like the narrorators dialect. it certanly did not fit him though. i imagined someone more like the grandson.

Wow, that was great. Brave (young) man, and such a beautiful aircraft. And Piece of the prop just sitting in his book case.
Can any aviator types say why that Spitfire recce version, no doubt stripped for speed and altitude, would have used a wooden prop? AFAIK, this was not the norm.
