250K Milestone

I hit this milestone on the way to work this morning.
I bought my Carrera with 95,500 miles on the clock and I've put on another 154,500 and it's all been good.
I love my 911 daily drive.

Those cars will do that standing on their heads, with proper maintenance. Nice work!

Mine was at 244K when I sold it. NO engine work (but it was coming). Trans worked well.

Here's a pic.
Other than tune-up's and other minor things, the engine hasn't had any major work done to it. It could probably use a valve job sometime in the near future. I had the trans worked on; first and second synchro's and a bearing replaced.

Great.

I just realised I've had the SC 17 or 18 years. A part of my life. I don't drive it nuts fast anymore I just keep the rev's up and enjoy it.

Perfect argument against the low mileage garage queens as discussed in the current 911 thread.
